"age is between 5 to 7 years old?"

I think they left a two off in front of the five and seven.

Perhaps:

This ad may be targeted at the "Twitter Generation." That, or the poster is from the "Twitter Generation."

I think anyone from around the 1980's or 1990's would recognise this, especially girls/women who were young and possibly helped their parents with the washing (Many "real men" would like this machine - its "new" doesn't have "bullshit" and looks reliable!)

Lid hinges don't get that rusty in 7 years unless washing in salt water.

@arbilab

No, no!

One of the hinges on our POS Simpson TL machine (See the recent "Machines of ILL Repute V" thread) is started to rust in the corner. The metal (white) cabinet is also starting to rust around where the plastic top meets it, presumable from the agitation wash water spitting against it.

Rust On Washer Tops

Can occur in less than a year if you often splash bleach and other cleaning prouducts on the top and donot rinse then off, we see it all the time on almost every brand and model [ except machines with plastic tops and lids, LOL ]

anything can happen. I've had better luck with porcelain but all my machines were pre-1980 when they lost the 'good recipe'.
