I was doing laundry last night and my Maytag A806 timer stopped advancing. I can manually advance the timer and it will perform all functions (agitate, fill, spin, etc.) correctly; it just stays stuck indefinitely in whatever position you put it in.

The serial number ends in QM, hence the date of manufacture would be June 1972?

I'm assuming that this problem is the timer motor, not the entire timer? If so, does anyone know the correct manufacturer and part number for the motor? If NLA,
is there a suitable replacement available?

I hope that this is an easy fix - I love this machine!
