I'm not a fan of wringers, but it's clean condition and bright turquoise accents caught my eye. Don't these things have production date labels on them?
@Kenmore71: "agitator was changed to turquoise in January of 1966", Yes, this one has a turquoise agitator. That would make it 26 years newer than what the seller states, quite a large discrepancy. So I guess the million dollar question is, is it worth $125? Less than 17 hours to go in the auction and no bids. |

Definitely worth $125 if it's in good working condition and you are looking for a model N with a pump. I'd pay that for sure for this machine if it were in convenient collecting distance! You haven't posted the actual ebay auction link so I have no idea where this machine is located. It looks VERY clean and is certainly collectable.

My bad, It's in Crystal Lake, IL. I contacted the seller about the discrepancy. She did respond and said she was going to correct the listing. Maybe she ended the auction early? Although it was ending soon anyway. Maybe she'll adjust the asking price since it's newer than she thought? Here's the link to it. Hopefully it will go to someone who can keep her going.

This is similar to the one I'm having shipped to Hawaii but mine is the square tub model that has the hinged lid. The other one that my cousin, Will, found for me 20 years ago is from around 1956 and also has the hinged , square lid but that one is PINK and will be shipped along with the newer model. I am also having the Trek 900 model bike I found and souped up shipped and will have 3 bikes to ride. |
