Looks like it's HAIER based...
The similar refurbished models go for $699 at Compactappliance.com

This model looks like a Fagor and may be a 220/240volt model.

Living Direct brand

From the link below, you can read a little more about Livingdirect.com...they make their own brand, Edgestar which is seen in Pete's link, and the Haier is also sold through them...this is an interesting company, if you read the brief summary at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Living_Dire....

They sell a great many appliances and more than one combo model!

The specs state 115 volts. This one will not break records at the time trials.

115 Volt TinI Combo

Useless if you want to wash and dry clothing in one continuous operation, and if it is actually built for 115 volts the heater circuit will last even less time on the 120 volts we have in this country. The heater circuits and heater thermal fuses are one of the main problems we see with these little 120 combos, I would estimate that many will probably not even last 200 loads.

But you have to admit that 200 loads is a lot of operating hours, probably 800-900 hours.

@Tomturbomatic:

OK, that was a good one!

Kind of reminds me of the stereo stores in the 1970s that used to run ads saying, "At these prices, they won't last long!!!"

Unfortunately, these are not selling for reduced prices and even at full price, they won't last long.

I, too, remember those ads.

Wow, what a Miele copy. That looks nearly exactly like the first Miele Navitronic.
