I need the old Long centerpost Speckled tub for an 1960's model Belt drive whirlpool Regular capacity

also,

I need the original Black Agitator for the same machine...

Would pay good money for either... I need the Agiator worse though!!

I saw your post in the other thread - I apologize for not replying. I have a number of spare baskets, but not that exact combination, in fact I'd like one myself in the original centerpost height and standard capacity.

As to the agitator, I don't have one of those either. If your gearcase has the splined shaft, which it probably does, you can remove the drive block and use the white (or pale blue) plastic Super Surgilator, even as a temporary fix.

Here are a couple links to ebay auctions of said agi:

And:

This seller can be a bit of a pill...

Is your basket just iron stained or is there more problem then that?

Here is another. This one has the fins underneath for basket mounted self-cleaning filters.

Thanks Kenmoreguy64!

Yeah I have seen these for sale before.. They would ACTUALLY fit just fine just the color is wrong... Wonder why I can't find these in Black?

Well the tub is OK shape. I had a time cleaning all the rust color off and all the lime... I used and electric wire brush... the ony way to get it off...

Hey you have'nt by chance run across anymore 60's or 70's or even 80's model Belt drive WP have you? I know where there is a serious buyer :)
