Hello all,
not sure how well this will go down with some members but here we go,
my hotpoint HV6L105P has died and gone to heaven, i suspect it was leaking onto the motor as it was making metalcky sparking sounds, but it was definantly leaking and the PCB also played up too.
Ive been saving for a new washer since July, and i have ordered one, as I have mentioned, Im not too sure how well it will go down with some members, but I have ordered a samsung WF0702WKE EcoBubble washing machine, I did look along the lines of zanussi but the plastic back cover really put me off, plus the samsung had a 5 year warrenty so I cant argue with that.
Anyway, it will be here on the 24th October, so once its been put into the wash house I will post some pictures and also write out some of the pros and cons, untill then, this stock picture will have to do.
Tom

Too bad the British powers that be didn't do more to save their domestic appliance industry.

Once an organized society can no longer do their laundry start-to-finish domestically, what to do?

It's not like dental and breast implants business will make up for that, even though none of those are made in Britain and the demand is strong.

Congrats on your purchase! If I'm correct that's the 8.5kg model? I saw it in a store here and it looks very good! Just the cycle times looked a bit long when I downloaded the manual. Please keep us posted, I've always wondered how good the rinsing is on the eco bubble machines, as I imagine it would have to be quite good to get rid of all the foam.
Have fun with it! I have a samsung TL and love it so I'm sure u'll love your FL

@MathewZA
the model I have comming is 7kg :)
the rinsing should be good as you can adjust how many rinses the machine can perform, I have tried to make space in the wash house but it feels small and crampt now, so will have to move some machines into the house

That's a very food feature to have. The 7kg eco bubble in SA doesn't have that styling, that looks like the 8.5kg here in SA. Well I'd put a machine like that in the house for everyone to see

mums been closley comparing the samsungs results to the mieles results and the samsung comes as a second best to the miele, so the samsung is definantly an amazing machine! :)

Hi

Hi Tom.

Glad you like your new machine. It seems to have a decent water level. What is the rinse wather level like.

Cheers

Paul

Hay Paul :)
the intermedent rinse levels are medium, and the final rinse level is low to make better use of fabric softener :)

good choice of a machine mate, the eco bubble samsungs can do a real decent boil wash with soak and intensive selected
