Looking to see if there are any clubs/groups in the St. Petersburg/Tampa Florida Area.
Would like to join. Name is Keith. Thanks.

Hello Keith and Welcome to AW.org!

As far as I know there is only this national/global group, nothing specifically "regional".   It's just a matter if a person with a collection, large or small, wants to open his/her home up and host a "wash-in", washer party, what ever you'd like to call it.

I see you signed up in June.   If you were "lurking" prior to that you may have seen a couple threads about wash-ins, including one I hosted back in April (and smaller gathering in Pittsburg in June).   While there are a handful of locals here within a 2 hour drive, the majority of the attendees for the April wash-in traveled from all over the country (and Canada) to be here.   I am still in awe that so many came!

If by chance you didn't see it, the link below is the thread about the April Wash-In.

Over the last 2 - 3 years there have been Wash-In's or washer related parties in Los Angeles, Portland, Minneapolis, Massachusetts, Pittsburg, Baltimore / Wash D.C and New Jersey (Please forgive if I've forgotten any).

Enjoy!

Kevin

Welcome, Keith! Thanks for joining.

There are appliance people in FL. Maybe if you put some of your appliance likes in your profile, you might get contacted by others who share brand or appliance-type interests like vintage dishwashers with impellers, etc. Now that you have made your presence known, you stand a better chance of being included in regional activities. Tell us more about your interests, please. You are of an age to have good vintage appliance memories. You can share safely. You're among appliance friends.
