Hey people :) I am staying with Jacob and we decided to pop the lid off the Hoover SE220. The machine needs the on/off button taped down to work it. We are trying to diagnose the fault but as we looked at the button bank there were 2 loose spade clips and a slot where a wire would have gone but there is no wire on it.

We would like to know why the machine is like this as it is not normal. We are going to take the soap box housing out and will look to see if there is a loose micro switch in between the button bank and the fascia if you see what I mean.

We will post pictures later on

Thanks, Chris and Jacob
