hi all, just a little query about the 1st of the Creda made Hotpoint compact dryers.

I know the 9303/9304 were the last square door compacts but I like 2 know when their successors appeared, was it before or when the Aquarius name debuted.

The style of dryer is still going today, just curious 2 know how long it's been around for lol.

Any info much appreciated, thanks. :)

A good guess would be...

...somewhere around 1991, which is about the time Hotpoint stopped making their original dryer designs with polypropylene drums. The absorption of Creda into the overall company structure - whatever it was at that time - meant Hotpoint started using the Creda design for their dryers, whilst Creda washers adopted Hotpoint designs.

Hi guys.

Alex guesses very accurately, as the 9305 and 9306 debuted in May 1991 a month or so prior to the introduction of the Aquarius Wash System models.

The original Creda design was introduced circa 1982.

Cant speak for the internals, but the basic bodyshell design of todays Indesit and Hotpoint compacts is in its 30th year!
