I wish I could save this one, but the budget is too tight right now and I don't have the time for the 12 hour round trip. It's a beauty. I'll let one of you guys have it. Common great cheap one nearby!

This is the same machine that I found a year or so ago only one year older, this one should be around 1966-7. These were excellent performers but diffidently could have durability problems, fortunately the one I found had never been used so it will serve well as a demonstration DW at the museum.
The earlier WP DWs with the telephone timer dial were very cool DW but were not the same as these in any respect. The earlier WPs had a plastisol tubs and completely different pumps that WP did not build. The impeller models used the GE pump and motor with the bow-tie SS impeller and the better models used a Gorman-Rupp pump with a single Bakelite lower wash-arm. |
