I think it is the only model of Miele providing a quite decent agitation..... CLICK HERE TO GO TO kenmoreguy89's LINK |

Yes, I'm not sure why they can't fill more water but you're right, there still a good layer of water it could fit in the tub. I can see this hole is never reached in all the other videos as well so I can just guess it is a level to do not exceed probably because it would be dangerous for the shaft not being completely water-proof.

Even the odd, "lazy", angel wing model have an hole, the other model in this last video, the Theliautomatic, got filled with slightly more water than the one of first video but I can see hole is not reached as well.... CLICK HERE TO GO TO kenmoreguy89's LINK |

I was surprised to see the short, choppy agitator arc in a vintage machine.

Well but unless I know it wrongly water cannot reach that high in an agitator if does not have an hole/vent, so it would have been better to do not make it if shaft wasn't water proof .....so why make it? Just guessing....

Here is a video of the same guy, he also owns a Miele Combinette (twin tub) along with countless appliances he owns, it shows how the shaft of these machines is made... Looks like the agitator is simply by pressed interlocking, no bolts and no twisting mechanism, just pushed and interlocked.... CLICK HERE TO GO TO kenmoreguy89's LINK |
