Minneapolis Mn.  I have already emailed the seller and intend to save this beauty.  It would be a dream come true as both my grandmothers had these.  Yes I know it has a KUD-23 top rack with the wash arm removed.  I am using this as a negotiating point.

"Dishes should be rinsed before putting them in, but thats how they did it back then!"

WHAT!? This is a KITCHENAID. Where did you get the impression you must pre-rinse with a KA?
Oh dear, imagine if a non-AW.org member had gotten this, then they'd be wasting SO much water when this machine is 100% capable...

Looks like a great find though - pity about the upper rack though

Pre-wash?

Had one of these years ago and I never pre-washed my dishes. That thing was 25 years old and still cleaning better than anything I have had since. Wish I had it today.

I have several extra correct top racks for your new DW, let me know if I should bring one out at over the Christmas holiday, with out the correct upper rack it will be impossible to get normal sized dinner plates in this DW.
