Maytag is a very dependable brand. Yes you should consider getting this dishwasher. But, i dont think it can or should be installed under a counter. You can put it their as if it were a built in dishwasher so that its out of the way but you could install it. but i dont reccomend it. You have to connect all these hoses anyway.

This DW is easily convertible to a built in DW, Although it might be wise to use it awhile to see if it works properly and to see if you would actually want to use this machine long term. The early MT BD DWs were plagued with many reliability problems, but being a portable it might not have had much use so you might be lucky. |

Thanks for the insight and info. Age wise what is it? Early 70's late 60's? I think I'm going to go there this weekend, I'll keep you all posted. |
