Getting your machines back to pristine condition :) Mind you I am not sure I would polish the INSIDE of the cabinets as well as the outside :)
What do you use to clean them up? And what sort of polish did you use for the exterior - Pledge? Mr. Sheen? Or some sort of car polish? I was fortunate enough to get two Keymatics, one of which is the 3062 shown in the brochure above, the other a 3023 about 10 years older. I am currently making arrangement to allow them to be used occasionally (as opposed to just being ornamental) but in the meantime both machines have done two washes without a drop of water leaking on the floor. Watch this space for updates :) Al |

Hello Al now dont go overboard two washes in one month you will be wearing them out :-), I am glad they have both worked perfectly and not pissed on your floor, even better that you are going to install them in such a way as you can use them occasionally. MIKE you did some miles mate, i hope you had plenty of Yorkies to keep you going (i never knew yorkshire folk played rugby) :-) Paul Well you have worked your own magic on these magic machines, it does seem a bit strange seeing them but nice aswell Lee As you you are inheriting one of them it will be nice to see how you get on with it Thanks again lads Gary |

Hey lads, lovely to see both these machines in good shape. In fact these very machines takes me back to my primary school (which had a deaf unit). Both the washing machine & dryer was constantly on washing & drying those P.E kits lol. Always loved the smells & often sneaked in the Home Economics room to see them in action. I some how was always fascinated with the little orange lights. Thank you for uploading the pictures Paul. I am greatly fond of these machines, for the reasons above.
Cheers, Hass. |

Hi guys! Sorry for my absence, been very busy over the last months, will try to be on AW.org as much as I can!
Ages ago, I found this thread about a Hoover Logic washer, it was a Hoover Logic 1400 or 1440? But I think it was German made, it had 3 sliders as opposed to 1 or 2, it had the yellowed facia. Does anyone know what the model number was? Probably was WA..... Not A3XXX as German Hoover washers have WA1000 WA1100 ETC. Great to talk again and so glad to see a classic Hoover A3060 (one of my favourite Hoover washers around) in good hands. Brandon. |
