If this is where I THINK this store is located

If it's in Illinois, Mr. KitchenAid (Todd) has been by this store a couple of times.  These refurbished machines have been sitting there for some time.  He thinks they are WAYYYY overe priced!!  Don't appear to be willing to budge on the price.  But he sure did enjoy just looking at all the nice machines.   If anyone is looking for a Full Cycle Button or Rinse & Hold button for a KDS14 it's here (but expensive).  (the Full Cycle buttn wouled also "work" for a KDI14).  they also have one of those fine mesh "baskets" which is the deterent dispenser that went in the flatware basket for 10-12 series.  ($22.00!!!)

bought many parts from them for my 14. Very nice to deal with, they are a gas and appliance company with lots of NOS parts and they are selling them for the list price adjusted for inflation. As a business they did store and inventory them for 40 years so that I think is built into the pricing.

I have also bought a few items from this company, good to deal with. I would recommend offering about 1/4 of what they are asking for most of the parts listed, as 90% will never sell unless you are in desperate need of a particular part.

I found a few parts that I wanted and one of them I was searching for a long time. I just talked to the person who's responsible for the internet sales and she was very pleasant to deal with. I didn't try to offer less as I really wanted that part and it wasn't that expensive.

It's not what the description says...

To me it looks more like the knob on the thermostat/conld control for a fridge.

That's right John,

Here's the thread where I posted about this lens last year... I had installed a round Kenmore lens while waiting to find the original one. It should be in the mail now! I was quite excited when I saw it, even if it was described as a refrigerator part! I was sure it was what I was looking for!

BTW, did you receive the PM I sent you last week?
