Crosleys were reintroduced about 10 or 15 years ago here anyways as a bottom of the line brand mostly found in those "don't pay til 2008 furniture stores" or the "rent to own" stores conveniently located between a check cashingstore and a liquor store. Wasn't it Crosley who introduced the first refrigerator with shelves on the door.. the Shelvador ? |

Crosley has Maytag & WP making laundry. The plastic tub means it's a 'tag. If it were a WP, it would have the name "Crosley Conservator." The nice thing about selling 'em new is the free 10 year extened warranty. EX) 10 year parts & LABOR on washer tranny, 10 years parts only warranty on the dryer motor & heater. Can't beat that for the price.

The original Crosley (Avco) made the "Shelvador" refrigerator. Now, it's such an obvious idea. Lawrence/Maytagbear |
