Pressing heavy soil makes the washer heat up that extra 10%, Some models had economy buttons that just turned the heater off allowing hot tap water to be used. Also I am not sure but I have a inkling that heavy soil button when pressed also make the hot and cold water valves operate when only hot would normally be used I am not sure if that applies to your model.

The programs. You may just make out 'Low Energy Programs' But I think the flash got the better of the text at the bottom. |

The program dial and mains light. The dial is much smaller then you think, and same goes for the cabinet, I thought it would be ginormous! I think the mains light is green, but I haven't tested it yet. |

A shot down the panel. Forgot to take a tub shot. The tub is mint, not a scratch or dent in it! And I hope it stays that way! Will take a few more shots later and post them! Take care, Chris :) |

Cool - well done you. Its the same one I got this summer although it went for more than £12 :( Fingers crossed there is nothing wrong with the timer - it might be that they didn't understand the cycle as it can take ages for the water to heat up depending on the programme and temperature of the incoming water and the timer does not advance.
Be really careful moving the machine and don't be tempted to pull it from the sides at the top as the panels crack really easily. As you can see from the photo, mine was already like this and I have seen others for sale just the same. |

Mine has an orange mains light instead of the green (poor photo but it was my iphone). It was leaking when I got it so had to strip down and change the seals and pumps but it works great now. The only thing not right is the interlock which means I can open the lid when it is spinning but the brake comes on straight away so it's not a problem and I quite like that!!
Have fun with it Cheers Stephen |
