Carbon brushes that is! I'm working on a couple of HOH's and the one could sure use a replacement carbon brush for the baffle sensor slip ring. It's NLA on Partselect and I figure I'm not the first guy to run into this problem. Has anyone found a suitable source or alternative? -Cory

I bet Mr. Swestka has some in a box SOMEWHERE in that basement!

Aside from that have you tried Larry in Parma?
Also, I bet John Lefever has some on hand.

I was lucky when I worked on mine in that I knew to catch the brush when it went flying! LOL

Carbon Brushes for HOH Electronic Control Dryers

It would not be very difficult to even cut down to size the carbon motor brushes from say a vacuum cleaner motor, these little brushes on HOH dryers are not high speed or very fast wearing, in fact I dough they could ever wear out in a lifetime of use, but they do tend to get lost, LOL.

Thanks to those that replied here and offline! I managed to get my hands on one locally and figured I better take some measurements for the archives should one need to make something work in the future. So here we go.... 0.091" thick, 0.1825" wide and (used) approx 0.3” long. -Cory
