Hard water stains--try CLR from Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards, stands for Calcium, Lime, Rust. I always use it to clean up older machines, use it nearly full strength and scrub with a green scratchpad. Rinse it well when done, but personally I have never had skin irritation or anything, I just wash my hands when done.
Rubber feet---your machine ain't all that old, try www.easyappliance.com..., it's the place I try first due to pricing. Or find the diagrams and PN's there, then go on Ebay and see what happens. |

Part # should be 210684. Maytag used the same rubber feet for nearly 60 years. Earlier models were black while the later models were gray. They're interchangeable.
Before Whirlpool took over Maytag, Maytag charged just 75 cents each for the rubber feet. After Whirlpool acquired Maytag in 2006, $4.00 each.
I'd hate to see what they cost now! |

Years ago, I needed a part for a Roper stove. This was right after Whirlpool aquired Roper.
I told the parts guy what I needed, and then told him I'd heard Roper was discounting this part(a burner valve) because they had problems with them. He told me with a smirk "Roper is now owned by Whirlpool, and they will do even LESS for you than Roper would have....." |
