This was the last of the equivalent Lady Kenmore.  The only mechanical controlled DD seriesa with any type of illuminaiton over the timer dial for both the washer & dryer.  I saw the pair once in person when I went to Sears just to see what was on the floor.  Had no idea this model existed.  Had a little "rush" inside because of the silly little light.  Was the only DD model that ever reminded me of the good ol' days.  I think the 4th little knob as for Wrinkle Guard yes or no.  My LK only had 3--temp, signal, and start.  It was the only dryer that had the exact symmetrical balance with the washer with the same number of knobs.

Assuming only clean clothes were put in this dryer, how do you get the handle that grubby?

It would take about 10 minutes with some paper towels and that Simple Green solution used for cleaning to make it look like new again. I hate this when I see stuff in this condition. People can be just so lazy at times. It never occurs to them that when people buy something they want it to be clean.

Who knows, it could have been used in a mechanical shop to dry shop rags.
