Another big thank you goes out to Greg for providing some amazing history on the automatic washer. We now have in our download collection the VERY FIRST brochure, the VERY FIRST owners manual and the VERY FIRST service manual to the Bendix Home Laundry from 1937 when the automatic washer was first introduced to the world!! They are wonderful to read and have, you can download them here...

Interesting that the 1st automatic

was a Front Loader! One would think that the technology would be considerably more complex to develop than a TL'er. From these pics it looks very well designed and built. Love to see in person, does anyone here own one? Pardon the semi-newbie question?
