Nice classic 70's commercial dishwasher. This would blast egg yolk off a plate.

Nice, but No dice!

Nice reasonable price and condition, but this is one machine to stay away from. There are no circuit boards available for them for the most part. And those that may be are very expensive. It was Hobart's first solid state controlled machine and the technology is very 1970's. Good for its day when parts were there but not anymore. It definitely pays to look for nothing older than an AM14 in any version. Simplified electronics and 24 volt controls and valves. Reliability was fantastic.

AM-14 Reliability

Steve I'm in full agreeance with you! The AM-14 is a phenominal dishmachine. In fact I consider it the best EVER! for a door type warewasher. I would challenge any one to build a better DM. However I did really enjoy the 12 we had in my culinary school classroom. Then there was the Champion rack-carousel machine in the cafeteria. A very well made, good performing machine but a real pain in the ass to set up or break down/clean.
