I guess I'll just wait until it quits again and call a repairman. The SQ dealers around here change like the wind. |

Our AWN412 has had zero problems since we bought it last year. The only issue my wife has had is since the spin speed is slower then the old front loader the cloths come out a bit wetter but my wife still loves the fact that the white clothing is coming clean without the graying. |

Speed Queen have been busy establishing ties with (what's left of) indie dealerships. The local Whirlpool / LG dealership in my little village recently brought SQ on board. Maybe this is why SQ is available in so many small towns---they actually have indie dealerships. At any rate, bully for SQ! Long may they continue to make a traditional top-loader.

are you going to get the new SQ when it comes in, or are you just going to keep the KitchenAid? Mike |

Bill, I have had GE, Kenmore, Whirlpool, and now SQ, the washers all have that clickity-clack timer, I love that sound! LOL It's how you know you're going to start a wash! Mike |

I also see no problems with SQs timers, on the dryers they have been using the one directional timers for YEARS in commercial applications and we have seldom seen a problem with these timers, in fact it would stand to reason that they would be more durable because you can not turn them backwards just like almost all mechanical washer and dishwasher timers ever made. |
