Cool find Chris, there are several of these overbuilt DWs around, Sears sold them with either the Kenmore or Homart names on them, not sure which came first, mine has the Homart name on it. To bad someone installed the kitchen faucet through the lid, but that can be undone, I think these are all early 1950s machines. |

Wow, Chris, that is a great find! I love that style of dishwasher with the round inner tub. It looks like you have all the racks too, which is not always the case with these. But OY! The faucet.... You never know, though, an intact lid may turn up somewhere!
I'd guess early 50s as well. Mike (dishwashercrazy) has the Homart version of one of these in an Electric Sink (he probably has the Kenmore one, too! LOL) Congratulations on your new toy and keep us posted with the developments! |

Chris I believe the cap that holds the impeller in place is the same as an agitator cap for a WP-KM BD washer. I know I was very curious about the fact that this part seemed to be the same even though WP had nothing to do with building this DW.
Are the chrome racks on your machine brass, SS or chromed steel?. |
