Certainly the seller must mean he will pay someone $150 to haul that disgusting thing to the dump!

How does something even get that...vomit-inducing?

Seriously, what the blazes happened to that poor soul? Looks like it was full of clothes and caught in a flood.

I have never seen a dryer that looks that bad on the inside. Often the outside might be dirty, but the inside still is OK. This whole machine, inside and out looks like a disaster. I would be surprised if even the selector knobs were worth saving.

wow...

thats the TOL speed queen dryer availabe here in South Africa and they cost R5000-R6000 deoending where yu buy it (thats about $500-$600). If i was paying that much for a dryer i would sure as hell clean the thing every so often, ESPECIALLY if i wanted to sell it!
And secondly, how the hell does someone let the dirt get so bad without cleaning or noticing all that muck?? You could probably catch a disease if you had to un clothes through that!
I dont think i even want to know what their washer lookes like

Drying Shit?

Or maybe mud? I don't know what else could get it this dirty. I can only imagine what the fan and the mechanicals look like. BTW it looks like it was stored in a car wash bay.

They only cost $600 in SA? Here in Oz you are looking at approx. $2000.

The exterior does look like it was in a room that was burning from fire. Maybe all that crap on the inside if leftover from the water sprayed on the dryer by firemen?
Maybe even a year or two ago and now the moisture has turned to mold?

What are they thinking trying to sell the damn thing?

Somebody got confused

You're supposed to wash the clothes *before* you dry them.

The pattern of the internal stains shows they were deposited by tumbling/operation. Don't y'all watch Law & Order on cable?

I've come to the conclusion someone tried to make caramel corn in their dryer, LOL.

$600 in SA

That's US dollars. But that R6000 price tag is still a lot of money here, because an entry level Defy dryer sells new for R1800/R2000 and you can get A new Kelvinator or Defy sensordry tumble dryer for about R3000. The Bosch's and Whirlpool heavy duty's start at about R4000. And at the moment the exchange rate is about R10 for US$1

$600 in SA

I am quoting Aussie dollars which currently converts to 16,700 ZAR or USD2056.00. Your pricing is very attractive.

I wonder what the companion washer must look like? I always prefer a matching pair.
