Maytag washer and dryer spotted in Sherbrooke, QC

I was out thrifting today and one of my stops was at a store in Sherbrooke where I have found quite a few goodies over the years. Today I saw a Maytag washer and dryer set, probably early 70's and in reasonably good condition. The dryer was a DE306 with the electronic dry control. It is working but the dryer door knob is missing (had the same issue with one once upon a time, but it was a really easy fix). I didn't get the model number from the washer, but I would guess an A306. It had two wash speeds and four water levels (had an A206 once upon a time with just three). Oh and the push buttons were in excellent shape - still legible and not faded!

No prices were given on the machines, but they are usually priced at $100 to $120 each.

Sorry I don't have photos... I have a camera in my mobile but no cable to transfer them to the PC... I am such a luddite... LOL
