Here's the most interesting discovery I've made. In the normal cycle one rinse has a lower level in the first rinse, and the second rinse using fabric softener option often results in max fill. Wash water level was just under half way full. Pictures below

I thought Normal does only one rinse? A JetSpray rinse by default or deep rinses when Extra of Softener Rinse is selected.

I chose an extra rinse option. The pattern is first rinse low second with fabric softener option will fill to the max
