Appears to be a single-speed extra large capacity model; 1990/1991-ish.

Look at the knob... Seems to me this vintage was only a black face console with the decorative bronze outline... Maybe it is a crossover model before they went to the more modular look...

This model came right after the flat black console models. It dates around the mid 90's and has the orbital transmission.

I would date that machine to be 1992 or 1993. It was still the basic 1990 design and before the introduction of the "Dependable Care" moniker in the 1994 series. Originally these machines were only available in the "black-face white", but towards the end of the run they introduced the "white on white" (E as opposed to W in the model code) that would become the standard on the later "Dependable Care" machines.

My mom has a MOL black panel one. Purchased early 90's.

The model my parents have now is almost exactly like this, except it has one more water temp selection. I was told by someone here, and by a repair man recently that it was a 1993 model. Model mumber on theirs is LAT9200BAE, serial #: B8382475.
