Hello all!

I am new to this site, found it while searching for solutions to my washing machine trouble.

I have an old Philco WMN862

It has some sort of problems with the timer, it does not work as designed, the machine gets "stuck" in certain programs and therfore does not finish the program it was set too. This meant that the lock did not open and I couldn't get the laundry out. That I solved with my leatherman but I am afraid that I damaged the locking mechanism since the machine does'nt lock it now and does not start any programs.

So my question: what can I do? I really do not want to throw this old baby away, plus I can't afford a new one.

Regards
