"We finally got around to installing our new dishwasher, so our old one seen here is up for sale. It works like a charm, and I promise you that any newer dishwasher is not built like this one was back in the day."

Uh, why get rid of it then? :D

Hi Ralph.

I believe all KA machines that had the Upper Wash Arm came with the China Guard Standard to assure the rotation of the Wash Arm.

As far as I know.

A very basic DW but a strong performer nonetheless. But, Yeah if you know this one is better than the new one why throw it out?

and I can attest that it is a great machine. I've packed it very full on more than one occasion and it has never let me down. I use the low energy cycle and everything comes out nice and clean.

New dishwasher quieter: YES.
New dishwasher uses less water: YES.
New dishwasher more modern looking: YES.
New dishwasher has warranty: YES.
New dishwasher cleans better: PROBABLY NOT.
New dishwasher faster: NO.
New dishwasher built better: NO.
New dishwasher more reliable: PROBABLY NOT!

It all depends on what one's priorities are.

Also, the person posting the ad might not necessarily be the person who wants a new dishwasher... wife might think one thing, husband another.
