It's possible that the transmission is engaged at the moment. If you shut the machine off while it's agitating, you can't move the agitator. Only when the motor reverses and the machine shifts into drain or spin mode will the agitator move freely. Try turning the transmission shaft by hand to see if you can get it to agitate and then turn it the other way to disengage the transmission from the agitator. |

When you reattach the motor, leave the pump off temporarily and turn the motor shaft counterclockwise by hand. If you see the agitator move with your turns, you should be fine. |

It filled up but won't do anything-- I hope i just forgot to hook the motor back up- about to remove the cabinet see |
