In the process of working on Classiccaprice's 1964 Maytag A702, the transformer for the light was damaged and will need to be replaced. I cannot find a part number for it. Anyone know the part number or a substitute?

Honestly, though, I would just try to find a replacement ballast for a 14-20 watt preheat fluorescent lamp at a hardware store or electrical supply house. Here's one at Grainger for about $8

It wasn't too long ago that these were still available, and for $6. 808 models use the same transformer.
