Metal-look lid handle, reminiscent of early Whirlpool.

Congrats!

I was fully convinced you'd have nothing but a vintage Lady Kenmore set as daily drivers.

Jason, congratulatoins. I hope it works well for you & Helen. I thought of you the other day when I spied in a dryer thread an exact match Kenmore 800 dryer to the 800 washer we both had at our childhood homes. And it looked in pristine shape.

Wow

First impressions! WATER WATER and MORE WATER. Lots of splashy water action. This ain't the Oasis. It fills all the way (fast) and totally rolls the clothes around. I actually used some regular Tide w/ Downy detergent and no suds problem at all.

I'm impressed already.

This machine definitely has fun factor.

good to hear from you again, Jason.

So the lid clears the cabinet...

Good luck or good judgement? ;)

Happy washing

Chris.

Great to see your post Jason!!!!!

Jason congratulations on your new machine. I like the retro look as well. You once posted about the first dual action you saw in Sears thinking of the future. I think we are looking at the future in your machine. I can see how the elimination of control panels on a back splash and their cost will be eliminated. Best of luck with it. arthur/alr2903

Jason, I know you will love the results as well  as the method used in this washer.I bought a full size model for a cousin and was so impressed with the results as well as she was.

Full sized

This is a full sized machine. It only "looks" small.

And yes, this could be the machine of the future.

Congratulations on the new machine! I love the stainless impeller. My LG Turbodrum is a much simpler machine and has a plastic impeller. It looks like this machine has more options too. Happy washing!

"Fuzzy Logic"

ovrphil's profile picture
Fuzzy logic - nice LG inverter direct drive 7.5 kg Washing Machine; hope it works out for you - would be nice if you could program your own tune vs. the one they provide that lasts ~ 10 seconds at the end of the wash.
Good luck with it - looks like a beauty.

I saw these at one of the locally owned appliance mega dealers today. That drum sure is cavernous! The store had quite a number of them out on the display floor.

And it fills up with water all the way? It must take 55 gallons of water for a full full. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the controls of the machine are right on the front top. Any clothes you dump in the drum will pass right over the controls.

Let us know how you like it and how much you can load it down.
