"Yes, the right ad (that I was looking for)at the wrong time (I was running late for work & even had to call in for Tardiness)..."
But after searching through my Adobe reader I finally found the POD (albeit a not so large size) so I properly saved it after all! "Over 9 feet of continuous custom(really ugly) cabinet space and no room for a built-in dishwasher." -- 'bajaespuma' Yes, yet another speculation which makes me wonder what the rest of the appliances (and furniture)in that household might be like! (The cars they drive, too!) More I'd never thought of...! -- Dave |

While interesting machines were very lame in overall cleaning performance. My brother and I had a TL portable and my parents had a TOL 1966 BI model and unless you let almost no food soil get in those DWs you found bits of it allover the dishes etc when the cycle was over. When CRs did thier big tests of DWs in 1966 the GEs were in about the last group with the heading While the following DWs are inferior in overall cleaning performance to the preceding machines, never the less some consumers may still find then satisfactory, [ meaning if you rinse everything, LOL ] And remember that CRs labs are in an area of the country with very good water conditions, something that I think still skews some of their ratings upward. |

That lady looks like she's wearing a size 14 on her left foot. There's a store here that sells fashionable clothing and accessories for drag queens. If you asked for a size 14 stilletto they'd say "what color?"

Have to say we have no problems cleaning performing wise with our GE Mobile Maid. It certainly out performs the more modern Kenmore/Frigidaire 18" portable that hit the bricks.
Unlike the previous unit dishes come out of the MM *CLEAN* including the insides and tops of glasses and cups. The Kenmore left yibbles every where including insides of things. Disposal of food particles you say? Well judging from the water drained into the MM does a fine enough job of sending whatever isn't scraped away down the pipes. Again nothing is perfect and yes now and then you'll find the odd grain of rice or something, but again the results are streets ahead of the previous Kenmore. Yes, there are minor quibbles; drying is all what one would have wished. Using the commercial solid rinse agent and allowing at least ten minutes of heated drying followed by sitting overnight seems to solve most of that problem. |

Something ain't right with this picture. Ms. Bigfoot looks way too high maintenace to live in a house without a built-in DW. |

Laundress, Glad you are happy with the Mobile Maid's performance, but have to be nasty and say that given what you had before, the Mobile Maid would have to be better. |
