No, didn't grab the washer, the lid was missing and I already have several Maytags and may pick up another tomorrow. |

I see so many of the new BD Whirlpool and Kenmore washers being tossed out!! I go to a local used furniture and appliance dealer, Smiths, where they get all the used appliances from Lowes, Sears, and Home Depot every Monday. They get three flatbed trucks full!! Mostly Whirlpool and Kenmore but also GEand Maytag. I asked them what the main problem is and they said the pumps fail and the boards are real problematic. The owner, Charlie, hates the new models and will completely break down and rebuild the old DDS before he'll even touch the new BD Whirlpools. They also like the older Maytags and all the newer front loaders. I recently acquired yet another Whirlpool Duet set from Charlie last Saturday. They're white with the drawers and the washer has the booster for the "Whitest Whites" cycle. I have to make room here and try to stop hoarding!!! The real good thing is we never run behind on laundry or dirty dishes!!
