70Series/air2903 Thank you, I was able to find a thread (Thread Number: 35630 ) that discusses the washer and dryer. Would enjoy finding a set. Oops, forgot the link relating to photo...attached it now.

The Limited Edition Kenmores are actually 1982 models. They remained available until the end of the Kenmore belt-drives in Fall, 1986, along with most of the 1983 electromechanical line.
We had two of these washers show up on Charlotte's Craigslist last year, but I think this is the first dryer I've seen. I think this dryer is Toast color? Anyone else? Looks too dark for Almond. Gordon |

Well Lookie here, that is my daily driver for being electric and beige! That is one fast drying dryer that KM had made. I need to find out why the high heat does not work, but on Med and Low is OK! This is the Limited Anniversary model before they changed the start switch to dual independent toggle switch. Single toggle switch on the left! |

I have a pair of these in Black, these were the machines that came with the increadable 5 YEAR FULL WARANTY the only washer and dryer that ever beat this was a pair of GEs from the early 2000s that came with a 10 YEAR FULL WARRANTY that carried the Wizard name.
The KM Limited Editions were the last haurrah for a high quality fully featured Belt Drive washer from Sears-Whirlpool. |
