Here's the front of the machine.

Black, pushbuttons, timer, etc.

Probably 1994

If it is having any real problems I would replace it, these wash-tower D&Ms were pretty anemic performers even when new and I have never seen one that time and use helped, LOL.

I checked the timer box, 1994 is right on!

Also, how did you figure that out?

John (combo52) just knows these things. He's our "appliance whisperer".

Oh Dear

This was part of a line from Frigidaire/Sears:Kenmore back then. Here is a thread another member "roto204" wrote about his machine (A Kenmore) model.

Dating Newer Frigidaire Appliances

Noah, the 419 in the serial # means it was built the 19th week of 1984 or 1994 or 2004 etc the trick is since this system repeats every 10 years is to guess the correct decade which is not to hard for me as I repair appliances every day in addition collecting them. It looks like this DW was made just after you were born so I would say that does make it a little more important.
