This beautiful range comes out of a beautiful home that is currently being renovated.  The previous owner died 1 ½yrs ago at age 99.  Too bad the new owners don't appreciate how solidly built, and nice looking this range is.

This GE side by side also comes from the same house.  It too is in great shape.

I wonder if you had to pull up a chair to sit in while making the settings for clock-controlled baking. I hope they still have the porcelain cover to use on the surface oven when baking. This range might have had the deep well where the heat came from the sides.

Early GE SxS With Ice & Water Dispenser

These were pretty good Refs in their day, but they are probably among the ten worst refs of all when it came to energy efficiency, hopefully it will become a museum piece where it will never be plugged in again, you could line 3 or 4 new Ice & Water SxSs and not use as much power as this one uses, LOL.

The previous owner was a retired bank president, so I'm guessing that operating costs were a non-issue to him and his wife.
