I wonder who actually made this machine?   Is it just another brand with the "Maytag" name slapped on it?

All I can say is that it has been indeed used, otherwise I can't explain the crud UNDER the lip of the drum...
Also "made in Czech Republic" sounds not Maytag-ish at all! Could be coming from one of the obscure "satellite" brands?
Or maybe they bought it used already?

Could be an IPSO

Or Primus built machine rebadged as a MT.  One thing to remember with this type of cabinet hardmount machine is that they need to be bolted to a thick concrete floor.

wouldn't there need to be a 3 phase power installed for this to run in a home environment?......

I found a big load dryer from a hotel laundry once....timer settings for drying and cooling.....a gas unit....but couldn't get it thru the doors into the house....what rotten luck....but it did operate off regular 110...

Tag shows it as single phase 240v service. An inverter or phase converter isn't too hard to rig up if one really wants to run something 3-phase at home in any case.

Seems to have a slow spin speed. The brochure I have for Huebsch soft mount machines shows their 35lb class machine spinning at 1000RPM.

Just have an electrician wire a 15-20A 240V outlet in your homee to run the machine. The nameplate indicates the machine is for single phase 240V-should be fused for 20A.Bet it would work on a standard 15A 240V line.

Bolt Down

Is there a solution for the BOLT DOWN requirement? I mean, if you were not willing to pour a slab for this machine and build a dump pit for drainage. Are there other options out there? Anything creative?

Disengage the spin windings in the motor or disable it on the timer ;)
Otherwise the machine will jump so much it will shake itself to destruction.
Bolt-down machines have no suspension system at all or at best it is very limited!
Otherwise they wouldn't need to be anchored!

I suppose one could construct a heavy pedestal to bolt it to. But with a machine this size you'd likely need concrete to get enough weight so it would be like pouring a slab. The drainage requirements would be easier, just need a big transfer pump.

The better solution would be to get a big commercial soft mount machine. Huebsch has a line from 18 to 165 lb. They all spin quite a bit faster then this machine also. I'd have to bet the cost for the soft mount is a lot higher though. I got a quote for an 18lb machine and it was over $4000!

They sure are attractive though...
