It could be one of many things, a bad top spin bearing, a loose suspension support bolt where it attaches to the outer tub [ this will usually result in a leak also ], could be a damper pad that has come loose and be sure to look at the main drive belt carefully just a small bad spot can sometimes make a similar noise. If the washer is working fine otherwise and not leaking there is no problem continuing using it till the problem becomes more apparent.

Seems slow getting up to speed on the spin as well. |
