I have decided to repair the transmission on my Maytag herrin washer as it is now grinding during the agitate cycle. While I am repairing it I am going to try and resolve a few other issues with the washer. The most ANNOYING problem it has is that when it reaches full spin speed it makes such a racket because of the rear self leveling feet/legs. They sound like rattling and they squeak also so how would i fix this? lubricate the feet or buy anti-vibration pads that stick on the bottom of the feet? im not really sure how to solve that, I just remember before it was almost silent and after I tried moving the washer while it was in the spin cycle it has been making the noise ever since and its driving me crazy.
