57 LKM Pair

WOW, these don't show up everyday and in great looking condition, I am sure that any washer that is 56 years old will need some serious work, but these are one of the easy machines of this age to get parts for and fix. These are also the best preforming automatic and dryer of this era, cleanest washes, best rinsing, very low linting, no sand grit left behind and no tangling coupled with quiet operation with no walking, and even with the mediocre spin speed of just over 500 RPMs this nearly 9000 watt dryer will dry the load as fast or faster than any other laundry pair of this time period. Hope someone here gets them, we already have a set in white.   The Hotpoint double oven is cool but not nearly as fun or unusual as the LKMs.

Very Nice!

These are such a beautiful set, especially when restored as evidenced by our own webmasters pink pair.

I would have gone for them but already have the same models in working condition and certainly don't need any more. LOL

Cheers and happy bidding to whoever gets these!

Patrick

I'm probably going to make a trip and look at them this weekend. I'd love a Lady K set!

57 LKM Pair

Congratulations Marty, these are a very rare pair and they look to be in at least great cosmetic condition, it is interesting that almost every 57 LKM washer or dryer I have ever seen is missing the copper colored V shaped piece of trim under the lady's head, I am guessing that it was not attached very well. Be sure to ask if they still have them sitting around somewhere when you get the machines.
