Youngstown

Did you notice the metal cabinets on either side of the range? What a classic example of great design. What year did Westinghouse switch to a 70/30 oven configuration and move away from two ovens of equal width?

1958, I think.

I know.  I've thought about that one, if it were closer I'd grab it.  I'm going to Southern Ohio in August, but it sounds like I have a van full.  I've got to transfer the Westinghouse Clothes Dryer, a surprise that I'll wait to share, and possibly my set of Maytags to Virginia.  If I figure out a way to get it, I will.  If not, I'll have to catch the next one.

the freezer with doors

It's the only freezer I want.  It actually was a pretty good idea, with a door on each section, you don't let all the cold air out.  They made them in the early to mid-50s.

The one in Youngstown is a lesser model, with only 3 doors.  I just need to drive a simi to Ohio.

If you're interested, the one in Youngstown is nice, just keep me in mind if you decide to sell it later on (and cut me a deal, $75 isn't a bad price).

Got to say, that range looks to be very nice. '57 was the last year for that cabinet style.

I would love one of these old

Westinghouse ranges, but I think that is more like a 55 or 56.
