This stack is very common here in this area. (Cincinnati Ohio) We as service men still see lots of them floating around. The controls were nice but basic. It had the usual h.w.c, reg p.p. del and optional pre-soak and x-rinse. This unit was the large capacity not the x-large. This model was the last to have a light in the tub. The later models had push on light but it wasnt in the tub. The washer would apear to be a 2sp but it was actualy a fabric-matic. The most common thigs to go wrong were either the controls or something in the locking lid mech.

My friend Mark has this machine, it came with his house. The house has room only for one machine next to a single tub by the back door. I expect these were washer-only setups in the early days (1950). I think these combos were from the 80s. I've washed in it, works quite well both washer and dryer. One interesting point is that the pauses before the drains are much shorter than an a regular timer Maytag, perhaps owing to the timer being electronic in nature.

Super32, are you Scottdammit? (LOL) Nice to see you!
