Hi! Im new to the website. I spend a lot of time searching the web for interesting items, washing machines being one of them, and found this today. Im sure it is too far for anyone, but have not seen anything this old in an automatic stack set before. Enjoy!

Westinghouse Stack Pair

Very rare pair they would date from 1964-6, these were fairly good performers although they may be a challenge to keep running if you want to use them as everyday machines.

In our basement around 1967-68.

I was 12 and of course had know idea how desirable they were then.

I made (brief) contact with the seller and asked for more photos.   I'm heading generally that direction this weekend and would like to go check them out.

However I'm not looking forward to turning my 3.5 hour drive into a 6+ hour drive.... Undecided

Thanks David for the "luck"!

Justin: Yeah I don't have nearly enough washers & dryers!   Tongue out

Andy, while I am trying Yell to adopt the 1-in / 1-out policy, that is one washer in and one washer out, not one washer in and one CAR out.   It will never get that bad!  LOL

So yeah you'd better duck and run.......... Tongue out

Kevin

1 in and 1 out?
Well I know someone who would be more than willing to take your Pink Maytag set off your hands. You know to help make room. :)

Justin, I guess THAT 1 in - 1 out would be ideal in your eyes anyway.... pink Maytag set in and the brown '63 Lady K set out.... right?

Hmmm..... Cool
