Who owns the Hoover brand in Australia?

With the exception of vacuums, it was owned by Electrolux for a number a years. However, now Hoover are being imported again from Europe.

Imported from Europe?
So was it leased/sold to the Candy group?
Or is stuff just coming from the Italian Electrolux factories?

It staggers me to see them at such high prices, but then most machines are not sold at 'retail'.

Hoover, it seems are trying to buck this trend though....even the link below has them at retail...something normally reserved for Miele and V-Zug!

Multiply by 60% for GBP, 70% for EUR and 93% for USD
