I sold a similar set about 6 months ago. Upscale Norgetags.

Slightly off topic, but was there ever a Jenn Aire badged dryer with the fan forced turbine dryer? When did the Norge/Fedders turbine dryer design reach end of life?

JA Washer and Dryer

There was only ever one decent W&D that wore the JA name, Maytag also sold its Dependable Care 27" Top Load Stack with the JA name on it, other than this rare machine I would like to forget that the JA name was ever on a washer and dryer. I think that MT wishes that they never bought the Norge laundry line either as this was one of the main reasons that MT is gone today.

Good name but:

Not so good of a machine.  Typical late 80's Norge.  Decent washing but a POS as far as being reliable.  Truly a disgrace to the JA name.  As John said the ONLY JA W&D that was any good was the stack because it was a REAL MT.   The Norge  washer line Maytag bought was junk and their revisions did little to improve it.  The worst thing ever to happen to MT Tl washers was going from the DC design to the Norgetag design.  Thankfully WP switched the MT to a truly reliable DD machine soon after the takeover.  This set could be a fun collector piece but not reliable enough for a daily driver.

Like KITCHEN AID, MAGIC CHEF and TAPPAN, (very briefly; at least saw a Tappan W&D in a game show) an ill-fated Kitchen Brand in the Laundry Room...

Like what MAYTAG, a laundry room brand coming into the kitchen (returning, counting ranges), who made these, would become, too...
