Whatever it is, it's got a little back control panel. I'm guessing it's some sort of compact washer... except of course that compact washers are not generally considered vintage appliances, at least not in the same league as that pink refrigerator. Perhaps the placement is a clue... it's a vintage pink icemaker. |

That is really two stoves. One is the avocado apartment sized range for the attic kitchen, and the other larger one is the regular 30 inch Roper range with woodgrained control panel, in sexy harvest wheat, for Deans toolshed kitchen. Remember this lady once said she had stoves coming out her butt. And it was NOT that long ago..... |

Well, I hope they are both washers, because that shipping blanket on top of the bigger one is just plain FILTHY!!! LOL. The little one could be an apartment size 20" wide or so range. Hey, I got stoves up the yin-yang also. Just picked up another one today (Modern Maid drop in gas), which is a keeper. Two others are going back on Craig's List, don't need them. |

Where did you get these, bethann? I seem to remember I once gave you the advice to go steal a Frigidaire pair when you were lamenting that you couldn't find one. I notice the machines were covered with blankets and tied up with tape. Did you kidnap them, LOL? Are they 'hot property' and are you now a fugitive of the law? You know your 'cool' quotient would go through the freaking roof...

WOOO HOOO. CONGRATULATIONS Bethann!!! I am so happy for you. Good thing I'm reading this thread now. When I saw the photos of the reveal I thought you had finally broken down and resorted to doing a Lady Godiva number down the streets of Indy. So when's the wash-in/Bake-in? |

I have no disparaging words for Annabelle, BethAnn :-D Best of luck with that pair--they are gorgeous, and I know that the experts on this site--who have been so kind and helpful to me with my restorations and mechanical issues--will be immensely helpful to you as well. Plus, you've got serious drive, so I know you have the perseverance to get Annabelle all fixed up :-) --Nate |
