Whatever it is, it's got a little back control panel. I'm guessing it's some sort of compact washer... except of course that compact washers are not generally considered vintage appliances, at least not in the same league as that pink refrigerator.

Perhaps the placement is a clue... it's a vintage pink icemaker.

Well, seeing that this is the vintage washer forum, I guess it would have to be some sort of washer.

Sorry Austin,I must tell you,it is not a washer at all. It's one of those apartment sized vintage stoves in stunning Avocado! Beth Ann is always saying all she ever finds are stoves remember?? Well, this is her dream stove for the attic kitchen!

The help you requested:

1st Bethann, find the end of that clear plastic tape going round and round the blankets.

2nd, start unwrapping it...go round and round and round, Until you have all that tape off.

Then find an end of the blanket and start pulling pulling pulling !

I hope you can follow these instructins and GET THOSE UNCOVERED NOW !!!!

A little birdie told me..........And this is fact!!

rickr's profile picture
That is really two stoves. One is the avocado apartment sized range for the attic kitchen, and the other larger one is the regular 30 inch Roper range with woodgrained control panel, in sexy harvest wheat, for Deans toolshed kitchen.

Remember this lady once said she had stoves coming out her butt. And it was NOT that long ago.....

Well, I hope they are both washers, because that shipping blanket on top of the bigger one is just plain FILTHY!!!

LOL.

The little one could be an apartment size 20" wide or so range.

Hey, I got stoves up the yin-yang also. Just picked up another one today (Modern Maid drop in gas), which is a keeper. Two others are going back on Craig's List, don't need them.

Luverly pair...... of white goods!!
Just read through the whole thread.
Bethann, you should be ashamed of yourself!!!! Have you any idea how much stress you have put some of these guys under, just to see what was under your blankets?????

Congrats on your new additions to the family. But as they are weighing 200lbs each and over 40 years old, i could imagine the delivery was rather distressing for you!!!

Bless!

Where did you get these, bethann? I seem to remember I once gave you the advice to go steal a Frigidaire pair when you were lamenting that you couldn't find one. I notice the machines were covered with blankets and tied up with tape. Did you kidnap them, LOL? Are they 'hot property' and are you now a fugitive of the law? You know your 'cool' quotient would go through the freaking roof...

OK, Here's the scoop

I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU TO ROSS for these beautiful machines!
And a HUGE THANK YOU TO VEGGIE for helping me get them home!

This all came about when Ross decided to get rid of the filtrator because he didn't have room for it anymore. So, of course I had to have it since it was part of my dream machine set.
Shipping took awhile, so in that time something happened and Annabelle was being a shit. From what I hear the Three Amigos in Tucson,( not mentioning any names), (Ross, Nate,& Roger)were being very naughty and saying mean things! She decided ( after being threatened of going to the Tucson landfill) That she better get the hell outta there!
So, Ross had mercy on her and here she is with her mate!

All kidding aside, I'm so happy to have my Dream machines!
Trust me they were very happy to see all their family, Gladys, Mabel, Alice, Lucille, and Nellie.

Annabelle has a few issues that need to be dealt with, but I did manage to get to do a load in her today and watch that glorious spin! ( Did ya hear that Nate?) LOL

I spoke with Robert today and I think this restoration will be done so everyone can see the process! Trust me guy's if I can get through this it will give inspiration to others that haven't ever taken a machine apart before. Just no laughing! I'm gonna be nervous a hell! Wouldn't ya know it would be my dream machine that will be my first surgery!

THANK YOU AGAIN ROSS AND VEGGIE! XO!

And thanks all you guy's for all the nice comments!
