I sent an email.

I spoke to the seller. She's very nice. She wanted to try and sell them rather than scrap them. It's wonderful when a seller offers an unrestored appliance at a price that you can afford to restore them.

Talk about ready to restore landing in your lap without getting robbed by a unrealistic price! Very nice!

We have a DE700 in white; if that dryer was electric, I'd probably commit to going out to Iowa. My wife and I love the pink washer/dryer Maytags. :)

I sent payment.

I'll find a shipper or go myself.  I really don't want to cram this set into my baby truck,

Travis,
We used Red Hawk Global to ship our stove from Wisconsin. They were awesome to deal with and the price wasn't bad.

I believe we paid $280 to have it shipped from Wisconsin to Maryland.

Travis, what is your "baby truck"?

I have a Ford Ranger (about as "baby" as it gets) and I can fit 2 (in the bed, t-gate up) no problem, 3 with the tailgate down.

I have had 4 in the back, but that was a very tight squeeze and they were parts machines anyway.

Kevin,

I have an Exploror Sport Trac with a 4 ft bed.  I used to have a Ranger.  It was spacious by comparison.

Aaaah yes... the Sport Trac.   Yup, definately a smaller bed.

BUT...... tailgate down, two ratcheting tie-down straps on each machine, plus an extra one around both... that WILL keep them in place!   Have done it many times with 3 machines in the Ranger.

Also, if you have any moving blankets, or old regular blankets or comforters or even towels... put one between the machines and sinch them together!

Have a hitch on the Sport Trac? Rent a small UHaul.

U-Haul won't rent trailers for my vehicle.  There's some BS statement on their site when you try.

It's not that expensive to ship things.  Just the gas to get up there and back is $150.  No offense to anyone in Iowa, but it's worth $150-200 to not have to go there.
