Not certain but that appears to be the model I bought in 1991. KAWE760. Variable water level. 4 temp combos (hot/warm, hot/cold, warm/cold, cold/cold). 3-speed motor. Speed is tied to the cycles. Agitation is medium or low motor. Spin is high, medium, or low -- has the "stepped-spin" feature that starts at a lower speed, then progresses higher through the spin period, supposedly lessens wrinkling. Final spin on Perm Press runs through all three speeds, 2 mins each. Regular/Heavy. Perm Press with cool down. Knits/Delicate. Separate Prewash. Extra Wash which leads into Regular/Heavy (same as Whirlpool's Super Wash - 6 mins agitation, 2 mins soak, partial drain). Sound insulation panel under the base. Check if the agitator dogs are broken ... fairly common on any direct-drive unit with the auger-agitator, and is an easy/cheap fix. |
